Dhoni with TrophyAfter 24 years, India won the ODI series (3-2) at home against Pakistan. Yet for many like me who watched the series, it was not remotely as interesting, hard fought and nail biting matches that would typically happen in an India-Pakistan clash. While the series score line might read as 3-2, indicating a tough series, it was pretty much a walk-in-the park for the Indian team and the two loses show that India is far from molding a team able to perform with a good level of consistency.

In their breaks between matches, the Indian and Pakistani cricketers seem to have spent some time-off mingling with Bollywood stars in some sort of an event show hosted for them. Enjoy the pictures.

Australian Cricket Board

It is thought as one of the most controversial policies implemented in world cricket, when the Australian cricket board decided that news agencies have to pay licensing fees to report news stories and take photos on Australian cricket at the venue of play. News media agencies around the world have come out in full support condemning this action as it goes against the fundamental policies of the media, which is “you don’t pay to report news”. Credibility is lost especially considering the fact that the Australian board has the choice of deciding the photos that can be offered for licensing.
