Roy and Bhajji patch up

In a dramatic turn of events during the hearing of Bhajji’s level 3 charges of racism abuses to Roy, both the players have declared their undying love for each other.

To a completely baffled council of Mike Provoker, Benson & Edges and Steve please Buckleup, Roy admitted to his fond affection and claimed his outbursts was because Bhajji never looked his way and constantly ignored him in spite of wearing his favourite brand of white lipstick all the time. Bhajji apparently broke down and told the council that he too reacted in such a manner because of the mis-understanding of the words which Roy told him “You seem to be very friendly with our bowlers’. Why aren’t you trying to be friends with me now? I’m a bowler, as well.’ Bhajji told the council that he was upset that Roy was considering him nothing more than a mere friend. The two apologized and hugged each other, crying on each other shoulder’s and brushing their hair.

For pete’s sake, let us all go read a book! There seem to be no end to this exaggerated racial melodrama… If anyone wants to watch a soap serial, they could try ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’… at least the women are hot.

    Scorpi,

Indians seem to have taken the accusation seriously. They have asked for a delay (which has been granted) and the latest is Lawyers are preparing to defend Bhajji.

Otts… it is a serious allegation level 3… but I feel things are being cooked up and look extremely biased. I don;t understand the lawyers part… I guess it means any representative that would speak for him.

    Scorpi,

Remember Ganguly being defended by lawyers, the same here. I am talking about ‘real’ lawyers.

My take is the they are preparing grounds for either Symonds to apologise or at the least accept that he had misunderstood.

Remember, the BCCI has always held the view that Symonds had misunderstood the chants from the spectators as monkey chants.

My gut feeling is Symonds has one serious headache coming.:)

Otts, I really hope so, as this is being taken way too far.

What language was Bhajji mouthing in, by the by? And did Roy actually make sense of his expletives?

SP, Dinnie… I don’t think anything was bad mouthed at all… Symonds clearly made it up and now he is singing the tune of sticking up for a mate. Symmonds said something first… how come he has not be pulled up. Let this case be fought and hopefully some stinging rallies can happen.

Harbhajan is banned. Unless he has admitted to racism, I don’t see how the panel could have come to a conclusion. If they have doine after a harbhajan denial and Sachin’s evidence, then they are wrong.

Harbhajan is banned according to CNN-IBN.

Soulberry, am eagerly waiting for more details on that ban.
